You will be shown how to test a wide range of appliances commonly found in workplaces and how to find expert advice if an item fails.

The workshop will look at a variety of appropriate inspection and test procedures as well as dealing with common faults and defects. Delegates will get hands-on experience of pat testing a variety of common appliances using a range of pat testing equipment from various manufacturers.  Meet your trainer     Tim James

Tim started his working life as a technician in a secondary school, before being appointed to the post of County Technician for Humberside LEA. He was responsible for developing systems for the maintenance of electrical systems throughout the authoritiy, as well as dealing with a variety of other technical and scientific issues on a local and national basis. For seven years he worked for a Health and Safety company teaching electrical safety courses before joining t2technical as Technical Director in 2003 where he oversees the testing of close to 250,000 appliances each year.

This workshop is based on more than 20 years experience of electrical safety in a variety of different industries and is presented in a lively, yet down to earth (no pun intended) and easy to understand format.
