Made by Silverline Tools, but operationally the same as those sold by Martindale, Robin, Fluke etc for £10.00 plus! Each one individually tested for correct operation before dispatch.
Tests all three pins to verify correct wiring. Also can be used to check extension leads for correct wiring, correct earth, and correct polarity.
NB - The latest requirements from IEE for Pat Testing Extension leads require a POLARITY check to be carried out on all extension leads and adaptors. This handy device enables you to carry out this test quickly and easily if your pat tester does not have a dedicated test.

Martindale Check Plug Socket Tester

The Check Plug is a fast and easy way to ensure that 13A sockets are wired correctly, indicated by all three high brightness, long life neons illuminating. Wiring errors are indicated by one or more neons failing to light, with the pattern of lit neons indicating the type of fault. This failsafe socket tester system means that any neon not lit indicates a problem.

Martindale Buzz It Socket Tester

The Buzz-it is a fast and easy way to ensure 13A sockets are wired correctly in the same way as the Check Plug. The Buzz-it gives an audible signal in addition to the three neons lighting when the wiring is correct. This allows for awkwardly placed, or not easily visible, sockets to be checked. The Buzz-it can also be used as a basic fuse finder - when the correct fuse is pulled the buzzer stops !
